This was a team project with two other students in which a miner has to escape from a mineshaft. I programmed all aspects of the game including movement, pickaxe collection and usage, and key collection. The project only has one functioning level, but showcased our two mechanics well.
Gameplay
Movement
The Character can move left and right, jump, and climb ladders to navigate the mine. (Pictured Left)
Obstacle Destruction
The Character can collect a pickaxe through collision and then destroy up to two pre-specified walls. (Pictured Top Right)
Keys and Win State
The Character can also collect keys through collision that unlock the door at the end of the level. (Pictured Bottom Right)
